I’m assuming its not a universal thing, as I’d have an inbox full of anger by now. it must be something specific to a particular circumstance or set of choices.
Where exactly are saves stored? I can’t seem to find them

Fixing your save game now. This is a silly mistake by me. if it happens to anybody else:
Open the save game in notepad or similar.
Search for the word ‘builders’
when you see the word café, edit it to read cafe. (no accent)
