1.30 crash on launch

Windows 8.1 system, all divers and patches installed
Purchase from website
Started game this morning, upgrade started. Now get error:
There procedure entry point SteamUGC could not be located in the dynamic link library D:\Program files (x86)\Gratuitous Space Battles 2/GSN2.exe

This is not a STEAM application. The only non standard part of the installation is being on the D drive rather than the C drive.

Will try reinstall from my original download. Then see what the upgrade does.

Uninstalled and tried to reinstall from my initial download. Not functional. No initial launch, the icon installed on the desktop is faded.
Attempts made as administrator with same (no) result.

Totally uninstalled, downloaded newest version and reinstalled. Now it works again,
Something went wrong in the update process that messed up the installation.

Fixed, for now.
