I was looking at the displayed firing arcs for Multi-Warhead Missiles on one of my Sabre Dreadnaughts, and noticed that the firing arcs for several of the modules were displayed as facing sideways or backward. Not sure if this is just a display problem or whether some weapons might not even be able to fire forward, but at any rate it should be looked at.
Some dreadnoughts deliberately only have some firing arcs that face forwards, this is by design.
Didn’t know that. In that case, it would be nice to have some indicator of which way a ship’s firing arcs face in the ship design screen.
That already exists. When you hold your mouse over any weapon location, it shows exactly what the firing arc is for that location on the ship design screen.
