When I set up my ships for a singleplayer mission I can Save and Load my deployment.
When I fight the same mission but from a downloaded challenge, I can still select my deployment and click the Load button, but the fleet does not appear on the deployment screen. I tried two missions, Yamaxxia Prime and Paleovost IX, but I could never load a previously saved fleet.
Loading Sub-deployments works, if that helps.
