bought GSB just now; doesn't load (spinning beach ball): Mac

I just bought the Mac version of GSB about 15 minutes ago as part of the humble bundle.

I have a Mac Pro tower, quad core intel xeon, with 6 gb of ram and 2 tb in drives. Max OSX 10.6.8.

all the other games i bought work find, but GSB just loads and loads … spinning beach ball forever. I can force quit, when i bring up the task manager it says GSB is non-responsive (marked red).

Is there a newer version that I should be using, vs. the one I just downloaded this hour from Humble Bundle?

That happened to me as well. I have 10.7 installed, and all it took for me was a reboot. Give that a shot.

you are a gentleman and a scholar. this did indeed work.

also note that the game MUST be in the applications folder. if i take it out of apps and put it on the desktop and try to launch, i will get the spinning beach ball forever. force quit, put it back in applications, launch and it will work.

Well, that shouldn’t be the case. We’ll look into it and see if we can figure out what’s going on.

I ran it outside of the App folder though. ._. It runs fine.
