My cabinet is fanatically supportive, currently my maximum political capital is consistently 50. The turn immediately after the election still has max of 50, and the second turn after every election gives me 90 capital/turn & 90 capital max. The third turn after every election this returns to 50 max.
Also, for the turn immediately following the election, my pre-election cut takes away 5.09 political capital. For every subsequent turn, up until the election, I have a pre-election cut of 2.84 political capital. After the election, this cycle repeats.
