Normally the delete key is a “reverse backspace” but it doesn’t do anything in fields where you type text.
Also it would be nice to be able to double click a word to highlight/select it and then hit the delete key to delete the entire word (or triple click to select the entire name)
Agreed, this is hugely annoying.
