[bug] destroyed but undepleted shields protect/recharge

As the title says, I ran into this odd problem on one of the survival maps. Some frigate warped in close, killed off 1 shield module (but somehow couldn’t penetrate the shields from outside) and then for the rest of the life of that ship, the destroyed shield module continued to protect the ship like normal.

I didn’t mind so much, but that’s not quite the way it should work…
