[Bug] Fighter bay and incoming fire

I have seen many time that, when a fighter is in a fighter bay, it can be shot and destroyed by enemy.
Is it normal?

I have not seen that, but i have seen when the ship with the carrier bay is blown up. The ships in the hanger bay go with it.
