At some point, I am losing the button “Deploy The Fleet.” Restarting the game fixes this issue.
My current theory is that it is tied to Admitting Defeat or whatever it’s called.
Ran across the same issue. Had it happen after running though a survival game.
I cannot reproduce this at all. if anyone can work out roughly what circumstances lead to it, I would love to know!

Ok, I seem to have been able to reproduce it using these steps:
- Select a single player map, deploy your fleet, launch the battle.
- Admit defeat.
- Go back to menu and change your race.
- Go back to main menu, select “Battle” again.
- Button is gone.
