I’ve bought the game Democracy 3 today through Steam and was hoping to play it but no matter how much i restart my computer and steam all I get is a black screen which does nothing and can only go away when I load up task manager, as soon as I do this I’m notified Democracy 3 isn’t working but the only option I’m given is to close the game. Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried deleting the folder C:\Users\Joel\Documents/My Games/democracy3/ and running the game again
The issue is with your video card drivers. Update the drivers. If that is not enough then go into your video card settings and make sure that the game is set to use the video card.
