I have been playing Democracy 2, and I can tell you from expierence, that if you put the Carbon Tax into place, to the maximum extent of it, it should cover your debt, and give you a big surplus…
And if you can make everyone happy while it’s in place, it’s even better! It just really ticks people off to no end at first…but when they realize it can pay for stuff they like, they get used to it.
