Wow, the realism of this game is extreme. A little know fact about the in-game election is that the votes are counted by Diebold electronic voting machines. These have serious security and integrity problems, and an unscrupulous president may use these to win the election even when the majority of the voters are against you.

Just press the ‘Escape’ button while the votes are being counted, and you’re set for another term.

LOL! Though in a game like Policial Machine, you can hire dirty tricks specialists (no doubt inspired by Carl Rove) to do all sorts of nastiness on your opponent. I suspect the only unrealistic thing in the game is that having all the money and power doesn’t let you get away with everything.
