I have added and dropped many mods. Lots of fun but my directory structure is a bit cluttered and messy to say the least. Do I have to re-install everything?Groan, there are a zillion updates. I have backups of directories but a list of core files vs clutter would be handy. Whats the best way to achieve my goal! I mean I don’t want to confuse the A.I. it needs all the help it can get. :}
I do clean installs regularly - its a five minute job.
One, open your email and re-download the initial game. This will get you the latest updates.
Two, uninstall the main game and the expansions, then re-install each.
The download may take a while, but the hands-on bit is five minutes tops. Much, much faster than picking at files.
