Would god be displeased if you take courses to be a better parent?
I can’t speak for conservatives, but I guess their answer would be to have faith in God, work hard, pull yourself up by the bootstraps, innate fatherhood, innate motherhood and the community shall handle the rest.

Hmm, religion here is very very vast with different ideologies, it might not even represent what we are thinking as of now. 
We can make country specific adjustments as Cliff has already done.
