Hello, just wondering if anyone has had any luck getting Democracy running in Linux, either Wine or CrossOver. I’m running Ubuntu Feisty on a Thinkpad and about a year ago stopped dual-booting Windows. I don’t normally care for games, but this is one that I’ve been missing. So far my experience has gotten me thus far:
In CrossOver: game loads, main menu comes up, mouse moves at a snails pace, when i finally do click on new game it quits.
In Wine: game loads in crappy window, most of the graphics don’t show up. If you hit enter it eventually ends in a Direct3D error.
Anyone had any luck getting this to work? Sometimes I know its as simple as copying a windows DLL into Wine, but which one… hmmmm.
