Hi, is it possible to add a feature so that you can configure “Default Orders” for ships while in the ship design screen?
It would be convenient I think.

Once you’re happy with the orders you’ve given, right-click on the ship and click “Save Orders”. Every ship of that type that you deploy afterward will have those orders as its default.
This does not bring along the Escort, Formation or Protector orders (since those require you to select a target ship).
