Had the game working fine, played with a mod uninstalled it and deleted the game folders.
Did a clean install from impulse and tried running it getting 16/10/2009 - 1::21 - Failed to find race:…\src\SIM_Race.cpp 112.
it could be you have saved out a default fleet (called ‘deployed’) that uses ships from a race whose mod was now uninstalled. So when it loads that fleet it obviously gets upset that it can’t find the race.
Even on a clean install? I unintalled the gamne then deleted the remaining folders for GSB. Do you have any tips on how to repair the error?
I think it may depend on how “clean” your clean install was. Did you delete the GSB folder in “My Documents\My Games”?
