Just noticed that on my one and only production line, every once in a while the car is free… (see screenshot)
Hmmm, is this possibly a car design that you quit the dialog without saving it? I notice it has no name. Obviously thats no exzcuse… its a bug :D. Maybe I should prevent people being able to skip that dialog…
Totally possible. In fact, I do seem to remember that that dialog popped up unexpectedly.
Note that I did not create a new car model though. As in, my assembly line did not change. And these free cars are appearing interspersed with the “normal” cars without any changes to the line…
do you maybe have some branching in the line with maybe one slot having an upgrade and another not? hovering over each car will show you the features in each.
I can confirm that some weird things happen when you close the “name new car model” dialog without doing anything with it.
Sometimes cars just get a fixed amount added to each car, regardless of percentage (which looks like it defaults to 2000 added to the base price of the components).
In other cases I’ve seen it put -100% cost (so free) which breaks the car overview screen a little too.
