Hi, Kudos crashes on me if I click ‘Internet Updates’ - the ‘community’ button:
Error box title: “http://www.positech.co.uk/community ”
Error box text: “Windows cannot find ‘http://www.positech.co.uk/community ’. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button, and then click Search.”
PS: I just bought Kudos, after playing with the demo that came with the PC Gameplay magazine in the Netherlands.
I love indie games

By the way, the patches failed to install for me. I didn’t realize the game was already patched until I launched it (too used to “big company games” with day zero patches…).
Perhaps you could note that new players do not need the patch or something?

If you have a firewall, make sure Kudos.exe has access to the internet. Sometimes the popup for your firewall doesn’t trigger.
It does sound like a firewall kicking in, or are you not connected to the web at that time?

The only firewall I have is the WindowsXP built-in one, I am always connected.
Downloading the new player characters etc. did work by the way.
Could it matter that my default web browser is not Internet Explorer?

That shouldn’t be an issue. I use firefox and it is fine.
