This seems to happen at the same place every time.
The message I get in the loading screen, which does not seem to be random, is “setting up biased acad”. Every time this message is displayed, the game hangs and refuses to go any further.
I’m playing as the US, on 50% difficulty (but it happens on 100% as well), all the other settings are default. I did buy all the expansions since they were also on sale at GOG, and they’re enabled, but I have no other mods installed.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
