Game will not start

I purchased Democracy 3 this evening on Steam after checking that my computer had at least the minimum requirements but unfortunately I cannot get the game to run.

The debug file gives the following:

I have also tried going into the prefs.ini and changing the resolution settings and windowed mode.

My game just started working, which is odd because I haven’t done anything else to fix it. I haven’t played much of it yet to make sure that it’ll keep running but hopefully it’s alright now.
