Game won't start; Failed to initialise 3D engine

In black screen it’s this message:

Failed to intialise 3D engine:. /src/app_game cpp. 233

I never run the game, doesn’t work change the windowed mode in “prefs” file. Please some help, I just bought the game 2 months ago but I can’t Play.

Try running it in compatibility mode with Windows 7? It worked for me!
