Help - choosing a My Documents location

Hello all,

I’ve just re-installed onto a Windows 7 Machine, wherein I have the following situation:

Libraries:
My Documents on a shared drive (very slow)
My Documents - local

GSB really wants to use the shared My Docs directory for everything, which isn’t what I want.

Has anyone else had any experience with this issue?

Any ideas on this? I’m not sure if made the issue clear, still no progress on my end.

I suppose what I meant is:

Has anyone had any luck in changing the default directory that GSB uses to save data?

In case anyone else runs into it:

Windows 7 doesn’t seem to recognize “forcing” a folder to default to something other than what it wants in this case.

I had to visit regedit and change the following keys:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders322756

From the original value to where I wanted it to save.
