Help with campaign mode

I’d like to hear some strategies from people who have beat the game. I’m talking about admiral difficulty.

I usually manage to get 6-7 planets before coming up against a fleet where I just get decimated. The last time, I went up against a 70k HP federation fleet when my own tribe fleet only had 20k.

I suppose it’s time for me to bump it down to normal or even easy difficulty just to get through it.

Lol Admiral nowadays is just, stuff happens and then you die. It was a bit easier when it first came out.

I only managed to beat it in normal myself. Though fighter spamming can take care of most fleets providing you retreat properly. Any fleet that doesn’t have 0.2 speed for retreat is bout to get overrunning by some BS.
