How come increasing _HighIncome, _MiddleIncome, and _LowIncome earnings doesn’t make any bit of difference for income tax revenue? That seems to be solely tied to GDP which in turn is also completely separate from earnings. Am I missing something?
The income variables are supposed to represent disposable income, taxes and health/education fees already subtracted.
So is it possible to create policies that raise people’s earnings? Or change the distribution of Low, Middle and High income earners?
