I think IRC Chat is a must have in the game.
The only present communication in the game is by sending a response after winning a challenge!
what If I want to chat to a friend while in lobby
sometimes I would like to chat with the owner of the challenge and vice versa… etc
talk about tactics or just socializing.
what do you think?

The problem is that currently there’s no real-time interaction between players anyway. Likely before this were to be implemented, we would have a system where two people allign their fleets SIMULTANEOUSLY for battle. Fighting in “real time” would facilitate real time communication, whereas turn-based combat like it is now only needs turn based communication.
Mistake me not, i love the idea - i just dont think it’s going to happen before a deathmatch mode.
