Still a bit weird that I can increase certain voters happiness by moving the slider, even though I’m not investing any more or less money into it.
It does make sense in the real world. Even just KNOWING that there is a safety net there for you in case shit hits the fan makes one feel a lot better than if there wasn’t. So in this case, those voter groups are satisfied by the potential for there to be a higher level of food stamps in case things take a turn for the worse.
