I recently upgraded to the latest version of my sound drivers and I downloaded the latest OpenAL from Creative Labs. Now the mouse is
very jumpy and the text scrolls by at a snails pace. The mouse is OK when using just winodws.
Thoughts anyone?
The cause was disabling PCI Reads & Writes in the
ATI Catalyst SMARTGART control panel. I was
trying it to increase system stability.
Does it happen in both windowed and fullscreen mode?
I’m trialing a completely new sound system that should stop all these conflicts with video drivers, as its a right pain, hopefully, if everything checks out, that should increase stability.
I’ll be honest, I have never run the game in Windowed mode. I can try and get back to you.
