Lax Criminal Policy Should Not Always Lower Crime

This isn’t to say that rehabilitative justice does not reduce crime, those criminals still stay in jail, they just don’t suffer under a punitive regime (which leads to recividism). But the blind release of criminals back onto the streets will increase crime. So, perhaps there should be some balance done in this regard.

Ohhhhhhh I see.

I checked, one of them does not grow, they both are negative, when prison policy is most lax.
