Okay, I’m a bit of a n00b and have no idea how to apply or use mods.

really depends on the mod…(you should have told us which one)
If they come with an installer, then just run that.
If they are zip/rar files, extract them and they * should * have an instruction file in there…but generally you just copy the mod folder to the GSB folder
If there is a problem, look in \My Documents\My Games\debug\ for the error message
