Modding - Adding new Modules.

Are we allowed to mod the game? Adding new modules and such? I’ve added 4 modules of my own as a test, giving them proper balance/cost, even making them require me to unlock them in Fleet HQ and such. If we are allowed to add new modules, I need help with one of mine to give it the proper effect. It’s supposed to destroy the ship if it is destroyed.

You are certainly allowed to mod the game. However, a better place to ask questions about modding the game is in the modding subforum (viewforum.php?f=23).

As for the module which destroys the ship when it dies - I do not believe that this is possible. You can sort of achieve this effect by making this module have the greatest health of any of the modules, so as to make it more likely to be the last module to be destroyed.
