more parties / partynames : solution

As requested on the forum,

I figured out a solution to have more parties and even country specific
than allowed by default ‘partynames.txt’ file.

instructions for Windows (old version only):

1. download .zip , unpack all files into \Democracy 3\data\ folder.
2. rename original ‘partynames.txt’ to ‘partynames__DEFAULT.txt’
3. create link to bat-file ( ‘partynames__COPY-activator.bat’ )
4. rename link to 0default____COPY-activator
5. edit properties of link from target : “…\Democracy 3\data\partynames__COPY-activator.bat”
   change to target : “…\Democracy 3\data\partynames__COPY-activator.bat” DEFAULT
   done.

Pick your favourite language version : -en -de -fr
repeat position 3. to 5. for every country
e.g.
3. create link to bat-file ( ‘partynames__COPY-activator.bat’ )
4. rename link to 2france-fr____COPY-activator
5. edit properties of link from target : “…\Democracy 3\data\partynames__COPY-activator.bat”
[color=transparent]… change to target : “…\Democracy 3\data\partynames__COPY-activator.bat” france-fr

This will take you just 5 minutes

examples for link names:
0default____COPY-activator
1uk__________COPY-activator
2france-fr____COPY-activator
3germany-de__COPY-activator

Finally move all those links into an easy accessable folder of your choice.
Done.

For your next new Democracy3 game
just pick a county and double-click its ____COPY-activator link.
Its party data is now viewable and usable in-game

I have decided to do this for the 6 basic countries (Democracy3 vanilla) :
U.K., U.S.A., la France, Deutschland, Canada, Australia.
Other countries are up to you.
You are very welcomed to post your country partynames here for us all.
