Would be alot simplier for newbies - Roman kings overthrown by the mob but instead of getting a Athenian style democracy, the plebs got a Patrican Republic … and were fighting since then to gain equal rights - Class intermarraige - Land rights - Access to the military - debtor laws - 12 tablets of laws - plebs elected to the senate etc etc etc … would be a great, if somewhat smaller game.
