If I remember the blog posts correctly, a compact is supposed to only use 2 door panels instead of 4. The best I can tell the switch for how many panels are needed happens after the compact first leaves the fit door panel station, not when it enters. So the first compact to enter will use 4 door panels and the first SUV or Sedan that enters will use 2 door panels.
