[Outdated][Bug 1.32] Tires in stockpile not being used

Hello,

I’ve just started playing with the idea of making some of the items in-house for the car production, starting with wheels and tires.

I have the wheels being used, as I can see the stock pile being reduced every so often, allowing the wheel making unit to shift more wheels to the stock pile.

However, this is not the same for the Tires. As you can see in the stock pile screenshot below, the stock pile is full, but in the Resource importer screenshot, you can see Tires still coming in from external, rather than being used from the stockpile.

Sorry for double post…

I conducted some testing, and put a stock pile closer to where the tire fitting points are…

They are now taking from the new stock pile.

This suggests there is a locality preference between taking from external, or using the local, based on distance away… Is this something that can be shown in game? - Kind of like a “Area of effect” when placing a stock pile, such as “This will be seen by any production unit within this radius”
