  1. The environmental protest condition should receive an input from environmentalist opinion rather than the actual state of the environment. Protests are an expression of outrage from dissatisfied people, if they can be convinced that everything is fine then they will stop protesting.

  2. The strength of Environmentalist opinion of nuclear fission and fusion should inversely scale with education.

YES! It feels almost impossible to get rid of the Protests while growing GDP because no matter what, the Environment steadily gets worse.

Nuclear Fusion is also the best thing for the environment, but so few even bother to look at the data. I very much agree with the second point!
