And her AA guns engaged them. They at some times used their main guns vs torpedo planes as well (hoping the splashes might down some, not actual hits). Regardless, such use was entirely ineffective. A better model for GSB would be for AA guns to shoot at small craft, and “main” guns to shoot at targets worth their fire. The current paradigm is broken.
