Production Time question

#1

If you develop a step.
So what is About the timing,if a car model does not install the improvement.
In Example, Building the Roof of a convertible takes longer. So if a Sedan runs through this step, does it take the old time, or do all cars take longer?

The time it takes to assemble is unique to the part being installed. Following your example, the “Fit Roof” step for the sedan will not take as long as the roof for a convertible.

If you have multiple cars with different roofs being installed though the same assembler, when viewing the Fit Roof assembler, you will notice the task time changing depending on what roof is being installed. (This also applies to other assemblers where different cars have or don’t have various features that take longer to install)

Hope this helps.
