Search Google for “Audacity”. That open-source audio editor should offer the functionality that you need.
Yeah, i was going to recommend audacity too. Free easy to use sound editor with very interesant effect filters. And of course, u can copy, cut , mix and do watever u want with the audio track. Besides, its compatible with various file formats like wav, mp3, ogg.
