I’m thinking of purchasing this game. It says stand alone and doesn’t need Steam. Are there advantages/disadvantages to buying direct or from Steam? As when I try to buy price is $24.95 but on Steam it is $12.49. If I buy on Steam can I still play it standalone or will I need their platform?
Also any issues if I want to purchase additional modules later? or Mods?
