Purchased new game, tons of problems loading

A brief summary. When I first installed, my avatar screens had no text and when I tried to muddle through and start the game, I got a d3dengine error. After researching, I figured it was most likely my video card driver, so I downloaded the latest and installed it. Now I can’t even get into the main menu. I receive a d3dengine error saying to check here. Details: [CreateDevice(d3d7)]. I have installed the game a few times but no luck. I purchased the CD from Best Buy

OS: WindowsXP
video card is NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX
processor Pentium 4 2.00 GHz

Can anyone please help?

hi, the game will generate some files in its ‘debugdata’ directory. if you email those to me at cliff At positech dot co dot uk, I can take a look.
