Quarterly Report/Cabinet Minister Window is Blank

Simply that. Everything seems to work grand, but when I go to the next turn, my quarterly report shows only a white screen (but I can still see the quote on the bottom.) Same can be said about the cabinet minister selection list, I mouse over the areas and their name pops up, but no image.

Someone help please, I rather enjoy this game, and would love it much more with these problems fixed.

Problem fixed. Apparently this game doesn’t approve of HDTV Monitors. Had to use HDMI cables to send to TV and put the game in Windowed mode.

This isn’t exactly a practical solution, so if someone could tell me how to run the game in 1280x720 resolution, that would make my life much easier.
