Question about purchasing

So I’ve just discovered GSB, looks fascinating. I’m definitely up for buying the game and all expansions in one shot, but given the releases over time of the expansions it’s really complicated so I wanted to double-check and make sure I’m not going to get any duplicates.

Basically, my understanding is I need to buy either:
GSB Collectors Edition
Nomads expansion
Parasites expansion
Galactic Conquest expansion

or

GSB game only
DLC expansion pack
Parasites expansion
Galactic Conquest expansion

Can someone confirm for me this is true? Thanks for the help!

Yep i think thats all of it, btw if you wanted to you could get the base game for $6 or more from the humble indie bundle 4 plus other games, though make sure to give cliff some of the cut xD.
