Question on Guidance Scramblers

Is the effect of guidance scramblers stackable?

The way they work, they don’t need to be. A missile hit by a guidance scrambler simply misses it’s target and that’s it. No second chances. Two guidance scramblers would simply mean more missiles are scrambled. If they both attack the same one, then the odds that the missile will be hit goes up they same as with any other weapon.

What I’m not sure about is if it’s possible for the scrambler to miss or, in the event of a hit, if it’s possible for the scramble to fail. Either way, the chances that a single missile targeted by multiple scramblers will get diverted still increase.

I think I’ll try this out by putting a sacrificial “Guidance Scrambler” cruiser in front of my fleet =).
