Hi Cliff, what was the problem with the text code in Rock Legend that you talked about in your blog?
It’s very slow, but more specifically, if you run vista and have the vista sidebar set to ‘always on top’, it flickers when text is drawn in the game ;(
Doesn’t affect many people though, and you can always untick the sidebar option.
I only used the sidebar for the first couple of days after i got Vista. I don’t really see the need to have a large clock at the side of the screen when you have the time in the taskbar and if i wanted to know the news i’d watch the news channel instead of flicking through loads of text headlines.
