Serious Validation issue....

I recently bought the game and it installed perfectly fine. I get the email for the validation code, type it in as instructed, and hit update, only to get an IERROR: Internet: HttpSendRequest()Failed [12029]. Help?

Hi, there are a few possibilities:

  1. your web connection is down
  2. you have a proxy set up in internet settings which is rerouting or blocking the game
  3. you have Norton internet security installed and its blocking the game (try disabling it)
  4. you have parental controls set up which will not allow connections
  5. some other firewall or internet software is blocking the game.

Is it any of these? if not, the game generates a file called ‘debug.txt’ inside it’s ‘debugdata’ folder. could you try again, then email that file to me at cliff AT positech.co.uk
