This event is happening a lot and in rapid succession. Does anyone know the causes? I have a strong economy, but a lot of taxes. Also, the global economy can’t pick itself up off the floor for long. I’m assuming the cause is somewhere in there. However this doesn’t address my real question which is does this event have anything to do with my play or is it just an event that is firing out of my control?

I think this event just adds more teeth to the push and pull of global economics, I’m not sure if there’s much proof against it, though I rarely play pure capitalist games. I like to see finanical turbulence, but this event has appeared twice in a row for me before, and has been listed on my GDP table of causes three times, so I’d like to see more variation in this type of effect.
