How to share custom maps.
Start with the small factory map. Click on edit bar.
Change the starting cash value to 500,000,000 (leave out the commas).
Change the starting map size to 200 - then hit apply.
Only a blank space will be left.
Click on the create zone button. Then create a small zone anywhere on the map.
Then click the save button.
Save the map as GIGA 12
Then click save.
The map will now show up in your mission/map editor as GIGA 12.
This custom maps/missions are always saved here.
Each of your missions is listed in the folder
Giga 12 is our new file - we will modify it to incorporate the new map.
Open the file and delete everything under worldy = 200
(Note - Your GUI will be different than mine. It is based on how many custom maps you have in your game.)

Save and close the GIGA12 text file.
Start a new game and GIGA 12 should be the bottom map.
It should open and look like this.
