The following screen shot shows that its possible on version 1.03 to have a political standing outside of the political compass / bounding box. Values that exist outside the bounding box are rated above 100%.

Limit the value between -100 and 100
POSSIBLE NUANCE:
Values that exceed 100% on the liberal scale do not extend past 100% and it’s possible that the conservative side also does the same thing if this is a visual bug. Check for differences between x and y plane calculations.
